LEE VINTAGE TAN FELT FEDORA With the name LEE (water Block) It's quality headgear dating from the late 1940s with a classic style that will give you that sought-after-look of roguish masculinty. The soft fur felt is a handsome tan colour. The brim is 2 3/8" wide ,bound in matching grosgrain ribbon , the 1 1/8" hatband is the same grosgrain material , The pinch-front ,teardrop crown stands 4 1/2" high. The hat is also equipped with a wind trolley cord, that button-on-an-elastic-string that secures the hat to your buttonhole when blustery winds threatons to send it scudding down the pavement. The crown is unlined, the sweatband is tan pebble grain leather,blind embossed with the LEE / WATER BLOC / FIFTH AVENUE logo there's also the gold-imprinted model name SUTTON PLACE ,and the name of the retailer ALEXANDER'S MEN SHOP of Perth ,N.J. A lable under the sweatband gives the size a 7; the inside circumference is 21 7/8"

VINTAGE JAZZ MANS 50s FEDORA STETSON BLACK LANCER PORK PIE A lotof musicians who play bebop or straight -aheadjazz like to pay homage to their idols --- the ground breaking jazz artist who created so many classic recordings back in the '40s through the `60s think, for example , of innovative saxophonist Lester Young ----- " PREZ " ---- or the unique piano work of Thelonious Monk .Both of those highly creative duds not only created new horizons in jazz but they also had a very individual sense of style ......... and they both wore a trademark pork pie hat in fact ,when PREZ died , bassist Charles Mingus put out a landmark album in his honor----- and the title was goodbye pork pie hat. the hat your looking at here is a classic 50s Stetson " BLACK LANCER " Pork pie hat in a rich shade of brown with a 2 1/4 " black grosgrain ribbon hat band , The welted-edge brim is almost 2" wide and the telescope crown stands about 4" high ,The brim can be flipped up or down depending on your mood, the crown is lined inside in shimmering black satin , with red and (tarnished) gold black ,LANCER by STETSON imprinted under the protective shield ,Theres no size tag , but the price tag under the sweatband is marked 6 7/8 ,and the interior circumference of the sweatband is 21 1/4",compare that to the measurement around your cranium just north of the eyebrows.
CONDITION very nice for a vintage , lightly used hat, The felt is clean and unblemished by moth, nasty stains, or holes

VINTAGE 1940s GOLD BLOUSE HAND PAINTED BY DITA Charming hand painted original creation dates from the mid 1940s ,The blouse is fitted with small pleats falling from the shoulders into the front of the blouse ,The long sleeves have buttoned cuffs ,and big rinestone buttons go down the front.the hem is ment for tucking in with pinked edge and a row of stiching above ,no hem ,the silky fabric is rayon,wonderfull cut and style,The blouse is festooned with hand painted green and red plaid cresents and tasseled cords ,The artist has also singed the creation.
